Fourth Annual Cabaret

An evening of song, laughter, and fun. We are hosting the Fourth Annual Cabaret at our ranch among the horses that we are fundraising for.
All proceeds will be used to retrain former racehorses in a new discipline and find them permanent homes where they can prosper.
Hosted by the incomparable Elisabeth Hower. Aside from her incredible work with the Win Place Home horses, Elisabeth is also a trained actor and clown!
Featuring:
Marcella Lentz Pope - She has voiced Scottish fairies, Russian demons, English princesses, zombies (of course), and can freakishly sound like young children.
Natalie Lander - Known for her work as Debbie on ABC's The Middle, voice of Kinzie Kensington in Saints Row, and Goldie in Disney Jr. series Goldie & Bear.
Debra Cardona - An actress, singer and dramaturg based out of both New York and Los Angeles. Most recently seen in the Broadway Revival of FUNNY GIRL!
Darin DePaul - Darin can be heard in voice-overs for video games, animation and commercials. His work is well-known in the industry — most notably as Reinhardt in OVERWATCH, Ardyn Izunia in FINAL FANTASY XV, the irascible J. Jonah Jameson in SPIDERMAN, Revenant in APEX LEGENDS, Escharum in HALO INFINITE, and the Incredible Hulk in MARVEL'S AVENGERS.
Isaac Robinson Smith - Most recently voicing Bishop in X-Men ‘97, Isaac is equally able to voice everything from zany characters to earnest announcers.
David Errigo, Jr. - He is the current voice of Ferb Fletcher in the Phineas and Ferb franchise, the voice of Plucky Duck & Hamton J. Pig in Tiny Toons Looniversity and Dudley from Ridley Jones.

John Kassir - An American actor and comedian. John is known for his work as the voice of the Cryptkeeper in HBO's Tales from the Crypt franchise.
Armin Shimerman & Kitty Swink - A veteran of stage and screen, Armin is widely known for his portrayal of Quark on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Principal Snyder on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Kitty is an American film, stage, and television actress.
Candi Milo - She is basically the voice of your childhood. Candi has voiced various characters on many animated series including Tiny Toon Adventures, SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron, Dexter's Laboratory, Johnny Bravo, Cow and Chicken, and much much more.
Graham Phillips - Coming off an amazing performance of George in Sunday in the Park with George at the Pasadena Playhouse, we are honored to have him perform for us!
Chantelle Barry - Chantelle is an Australian musician and actress from Perth.
Scott Whyte - Scott is an actor best known for his role as Chris Anderson on City Guys. He has also appeared in television series such as That '70s Show and Just Shoot Me! and the films D2: The Mighty Ducks and its sequel, D3.
Jay Preston - Jay is an on-camera & voice actor from New England and is the new creative director of the Voice Over Resource Guide.

Shawna Karrasch Clinic
2 day clinic from 9am - 4pm Saturday and Sunday, October 8th and 9th

All levels welcome and wanted! No prior reinforcement training required. No horse required! We can offer a Win Place Home or Birtwick Park horse to work with.
Participants will receive an in-depth education in the science of positive reinforcement and practical hands-on sessions with their horses.
Shawna is a pioneer in the use of Positive Reinforcement Training with horses. Her powerful and humane behavioral training techniques are an eye-opening experience for equine professionals, competitors, and amateurs alike. She has produced books and videos, and traveled worldwide to teach the concepts of bridge conditioning and positive reinforcement for horses.
Shawna began her training career far outside the equestrian world, working with large marine mammals. Animals such as dolphins, sea lions and orcas cannot be coerced. Only positive reinforcement methods can be used to ask these magnificent creatures to participate voluntarily in activities with human trainers. (You may be able to force a horse onto a trailer, but just try it with a walrus!)
When introduced to the world of top equestrian competition, Shawna saw immediately how reward-based training could be used to engage the horse’s willingness in equestrian pursuits. A number of years ago, top trainer John Madden was so impressed with Shawna’s early results that the world-renowned training facility at the Madden farm became the testing ground for adapting Positive Reinforcement Training for horses.
By using Shawna’s Positive Reinforcement Training methods, Olympian Beezie Madden taught her famous show jumper Judgment (now Judgment ISF) to overcome his fear of water and go on to win the $1,000,000 CN International at Spruce Meadows, among many other international show-jumping victories. Beezie’s spectacular success over decades as a top international competitor on a series of great horses is a testament not only to her extraordinary talent and skill as a rider and trainer, but also in part to the reward-based training system that Shawna first developed on the Madden farm.
Shawna’s infectious enthusiasm, sense of humor, years of training experience and rapport with animals and humans makes her one of the finest positive-reinforcement trainers in North America.

Hosted by the hilarious Luke “The Dingo” Trembath. Aside from his hosting gigs and snowboarding, Luke is the engine behind the Find Your Grind Foundation which is devoted to accelerating the future of learning through innovative approaches to education and community.

Debra Wilson - The Comedy Queen from Mad TV, Debra is an artistic force of nature. Aside from her extensive sketch comedy career, she has amassed an impressive resume in TV and film We couldn’t be more thrilled to have her grace our stage for some killer spoken word.
Jason Ellis - Skateboarder, Fighter, Comedian, Podcaster, New York Times bestselling author, Jason will have you rolling off your chair with laughter.
Matt Felten - is an actor, clown, and believe it or not… a magician. We’ve seen him perform at Magic Castle, and are delighted he’s agreed to grace our stage with…well, we can’t give away TOO many secrets, you’ll have to come and see for yourself!
Ali Hillis - An actress and voice over artist, you’ve seen or heard Ali in film, television, animation, and some amazing video games.
Elle Newlands - An actor, voice over artist and incredible singer. You’ve heard her in the World of Warcraft and Halo games, among many others, and on August 7, you’ll hear her singing chops as well. Elle is as dreamy as her voice, and you won’t want to miss this.
Erin Burkett- Those who know Erin, love Erin. She’s one of our incredible volunteers, who also, y’know, boasts 2 PhD’s and teaches at CalTech, when she’s not playing with horses or strumming her guitar, of course.
Anna Brisbin - will wow you with her voice- er, VOICES, we should say. She’s an actress, voice artist, and impressionist with over 2 million YouTube subscribers! You don’t want to miss hearing everything she’s got to say.
Derek McAlister - will surprise you again and again. An actor, street performer, and physical comedian that has appeared in film and television. He is incredibly talented and completely unexpected.
Marilyn Mineo - is an actress, writer, and clown who has graced stages all over Los Angeles and New York. With a brand of comedy all her own, she’ll make you laugh as much as she will make you think.

Sixth Annual WPH Online Auction
We are holding a nine day long online auction fundraiser to help support the care and feed of our current horses in training and allow us to rescue even more horses off the racetrack.
Race for the Rescues
The event includes a 5K, 10K, Kid’s Fun Run, and 1K Dog Walk.
Race day activities include celebrity host and special guests, pet adoption day, a Rockin’ Adoption show, huge silent auction, food trucks, awards for top racers, face painting, pet psychics, giveaways, unique pet products and more!
Drag Queen Bingo Fundraiser
Games begin at 7pm!
Fabulous Prize Packages! And it’s all benefiting Win Place Home! Hosted by Bingo Boy and his rotating roster of fabulous “Drag Queen Bingo Hostesses,” each event and party is a mix of friends, fun, and ridiculousness.
